Saluki track and field got off to a strong start at the Kentucky Invitational after sweeping both the men's and women's weight throw at Day One of the meet on Friday.

Saluki track and field will hit the road for the first time this indoor season for the Kentucky Invitational on Friday and Saturday.

Saluki track and field won both its men's dual meet with Belmont and its women's tri-meet against Belmont and Austin Peay with 11 more event titles on Day Two to conclude the Saluki Open on Saturday at the SIU Student Recreation Center.

Saluki track and field resumed the 2014 indoor season with a strong showing at Day One of the Saluki Open on Friday at the SIU Recreation Center, where Southern took home three event titles in six events.

Saluki track and field will resume the indoor season with the Saluki Open at the SIU Student Recreation Center on Friday and Saturday.
